Badung Regency

Badung Regency, one of eight districts and one city in Bali, have a physical form like a unique “kris”, which is a weapon unique community Bali. Located at the position 08o14’17 “- 08o50’57” South Latitude and 115o05’02 “- 115o15 ’09” East Longitude, extends in the middle of the island of Bali.

Have any area of 418.52 km2 (7.43% wide island of Bali), The north of this area is a mountainous region that cool tube, with Buleleng district, while in the southern part is low with a white sandy beach and directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean . The middle of the rice field is an area with beautiful scenery and the beautiful, adjacent to the Gianyar regency and Denpasar city on the East, while in the West with Tabanan regency.

Badung Regency is a tropical region who has two seasons namely dry season (April – October) and rainy season (November – March), with a rainfall average pertahun between 893.4 – 2702.6 mm. An average temperature of 25 – 30oC with humidity reaches an average of 79%.

Badung Regency administratively divided into 6 (six) of the District range from the North to the South District of the evening, Abiansemal, Mengwi, Kuta, Kuta Utara, Kuta & South. Besides, in this region, there are 16 villages, 45 Village, Village 1 Preparation, Banjar Dinas 361, 148 Environment and Conservation Preparation 13

In addition to Government institutions such as the above, in Badung regency, there are institutions that consists of Adat Desa Adat 119, 523 and 523 Banjar Sekaa cadet. In Badung regency, there are BPLA District 1 and District 6 BPLA and Widyasabha District 1 and District 6 Widyasabha. Institution – the institution has a tradition that is very strategic role in development in the region, especially in Badung and Bali in general

As is often an institution, members of indigenous peoples is bound in a custom rule which is called awig – awig. The existence of awig-binding awig This is a very general public so that citizens are very dutiful to the custom. Therefore, the existence of this custom is a very powerful tool in selectivity of community participation. Many programs that proclaimed the Government successfully implemented well in this region, owing to the involvement and role of the existing indigenous institutions.

Places of Interest in Badung :  Kuta Beach Kuta is the most famous beach among the visitors, who visit Bali island. Its located approximately 2 km from International airport Bali to be north.Almost all of the visitors will pass off the chance enjoying the beauty of Kuta Beach. Mengwi : the royal temple with spacious courtyard surrounded by moat. Sangeh : there are numerous monkey inhabitants. Canggu: Beach area for avid surfers. Nusa Dua : with a magnificent white sandy beach the newly opened tourist resort has number of 5-stars hotels.

Labuan Sait beach : located a few kilometers north of the ancient temple of Uluwatu, facing the vast Indian Ocean. From parking area , one must descend down stairs and pass through long narrow gap of cliff before reaching the wide beach area. The sea water here is crystal clear and the large waves make it one of the best places for surfing in all of bali, as surfing lover throughout the world have already discovered.

Jimbaran Beach …. this area is just south of kedonganan beach and has very beautiful white sand beach area and clear sea water that is suitable for recreation and relaxation. It is quieter than its neighboring beaches and one will find nice hotels and mostly seafood rest. Jimbaran is in the fact, famous for delicious seafood with Jimbaran’s secret sauce. you have got to taste it to believe it. Mainly sea food particulary its typical grilled sea food.
